If you were to ask me for a venue that made you feel like you were tying the knot in paradise, I’d probably give you Mt. Hood Organic Farms, a 200-acre orchard estate in the Hood River Valley. With such a prime location at the base of Mt. Hood, these grounds are without a doubt some of the most beautiful in Oregon, boasting expansive apple and pear orchards, lush forests, wide-open meadows, vibrant wildflowers, cute little ponds, and what have got to be THE most spectacular views of Mt. Hood anywhere in the area. Established in the early 1900’s, this venue blends modern amenities and services with older touches and vintage charm, from the Cottage to the Carriage House to the Pond Bar. The wide variety of venue spaces makes it easy to curate your dream celebration, with endless possibilities to choose from; maybe you start the day by getting ready in the Cottage, head to the gardens for your mountain-view ceremony, enjoy handcrafted cocktails by the pond, and end the evening in the flower-rimmed Courtyard, or inside of the historic Apple House. Every nook and cranny of this venue is incredibly picturesque and I just know you’ll be framing those portraits of the two of you walking through the wildflower meadows at sunset!
